Washing Dishes

No Bugs Allowed!

The Sierra Club’s top-secret dishwashing protocol isn’t just about cleanliness — it’s a four-tub symphony, a bubbling, splashing masterpiece that obliterates viruses and bacteria like they owe us rent money. We’re talking about a microbial smackdown so thorough, even the germs’ germs are packing their bags.

Here’s the deal: you are responsible for your own dishes. Yes, you. That bowl you just licked clean? It’s not going to magically wash itself (we tried, the bowls went on strike).

Now, if the idea of plunging your hands into a frothy Clorox tub makes you want to write a strongly worded letter to your immune system, that’s okay. Just place your plates, forks, spoons, and any suspicious-looking mugs in the designated germ jail.  (a.k.a. “this tub right here”), and our dish squad will handle the hazardous cleanup.

It’s tubs, tubs, tubs everywhere you look — like a dishwashing rave! Picture thumping beats replaced by the hypnotic swish of soapy water, glow sticks swapped for sponge wands, and instead of dancing… well, okay, there’s still dancing, but only if the scrub brush has a good rhythm.

When you follow the four-tub method, your dishes don’t just get clean — they graduate with honors, squeaky enough to play a tune on.

So grab a sponge, join the party, and remember: around here, the tub life chooses you.

Step 6.

Set your plate, silverware and glass on the air drying rack. DO No Towel dry anything! This spreads bacteria.
