Kitchen Duty
Chef Deb (of Badger’s Kitchen, Central Oregon) will craft 3 healthy, soulful meals daily. Click here for meal times.
For one day, each camper will join a 9-person team responsible for:
Food prep, plating, and cleanup
Rotating between breakfast, lunch, and dinner
We accommodate dietary needs. (see the questionnaire)
Someone from camp will be in touch with you to put you on a team. It's really fun!
Four Step Dishwashing System
We're all responsible for washing our own stuff. We have developed a great system based on the Sierra Club's standards. It works great!
Step 1. Scrape your food scraps into a garbage can.
Step 2. Using a scrubby, wash your dish and silverware in hot soapy water.
Step 3. Rinse your plate and silverware in clean, hot water.
Step 4. Rinse your dishes in hot bleach water to kill everything!
