Art on Playa: “I Love Elephants Camp” – A vibrant community space on the Esplanade offering nourishment, storytelling, and a joyful reminder of our kinship with all life.
About Big Bird:
By day Philip “Big Bird” Price leads a nonprofit dedicated to Asian elephant conservation—developing early‑warning systems for rail corridors and reducing human‑elephant conflict. On the playa, he founded I Love Elephants Camp—an independent sanctuary of hospitality, art, and radical inclusion.
Why We Love His Work:
He brings jungle devotion to camp life—caring, inventive, and unshakably human.
Playa Fun Fact:
He once redirected a lost art car, fed the crew pancakes, and convinced them to stay for strike. That’s playa diplomacy, and something that wouldn't be beyond his reach ;)
Learn More:
No websites. No pitches. Just look for the camp with elephants in the heart, not on the nametag. Ask for Big Bird.
(No hustle, no logos—just heart.)
